I have known Mr. Albert Shi since 2020 through his wife, Ms. Dian (Daisy) Wan, who has been a college friend of mine since 2011. Up to today, I have invested as a Limited Partner (LP) with Albert as one of the General Partner (GP) in two multifamily properties in Texas. I have been receiving cash distribute quarterly steadily at a rate slightly higher than the one stated in the initial offering for both investments. And I have confidence that the total return will meet or be higher than the projected goal. Below I would like to share my own experience working with Albert and the reasons, other than friendship and my feelings that Albert and Daisy are great persons, why I decided to invest with Albert. I hope this testimonial can serve as a helpful reference for you if you are considering investing in multifamily properties with Albert.
1. Accurate and Understandable Educational Information. Before I decided to invest, I first need to understand what I am investing in and how it works. Although I have been investing in securities and single-family houses/town houses/condos in the U.S. and China, multifamily apartment is not a familiar concept. However, I was able to make decisions thanks to the articles, blogs, webinars Albert diligently wrote and hold about how the investments in multifamily properties work. I can tell that the information and material Albert provides are the things he would like to learn and know himself. He is not hiding any secrets. Albert was able to make those articles readable without any jargon and yet accurate. I never have the feeling that “I probably need a degree in investments to understand the logic behind multifamily investment.” With a clear idea of how the project works, I can comfortably make my decisions and invest my savings.
2. Responsibility and Diligence. Albert is now working full-time as the CEO of Oak Real Estate Investment company he founded, focusing on investment in multifamily properties. Albert quit his previous descent job in order to be fully dedicated to his current career in which he has strong faith and great passion. He spent all his expertise and energies ensuring that he acquires good properties and manages properties well so the projected return can be gained. He compiles and sends out transparent financial updates of each property monthly. And if there is anything he feels you would like to know as a LP he would contact you pro-actively without being asked for. For example, in the winter of 2020, the plumbing system of the apartment property I invested in was impacted by the history-low temperature in Texas. He contacted me and let me know what the situation was and what measures he and his team took to prevent the situation from adversely affecting the net income of the property. So far, I never need to worry about anything regarding property management.
3. Self-discipline and Tact in Real Estate Investment. Albert is a self-disciplined person (as well as his wife) and always strictly sticks to a set of principles that he decided to stick to based on his past experience. You can easily find out the set of principles on his website or any of his social network profiles. What he believes in and sticks to demonstrate that he is person of integrity. Not only that he has the willing to do things right, but he also has the competence to do things right looking at his track record.
For all these reasons, I unreservedly give Albert my highest recommendation.

I initially watched the video that Albert sharing his real estate investment experience online. It was the first time I heard about the Multi-family investment and I was very interested in it.
